You and I have them, the Facebook friends that happen to be real life friends but always post what we don’t like on Facebook. We can’t unfollow them just like that because they would likely to find out and wouldn’t be happy with us. So we keep seeing the trash they share in our Facebook feed.
Luckily, Facebook has come to our aid; we can now do a kind of “semi unfriend” that snoozes and keeps their posts out of our news feed.
The snooze feature was tested earlier this year, after Facebook reasons with the fact that there are some of us that just don’t want to see posts from some particular Facebook friends and at the same time don’t want to unfriend them.
Now the snooze feature testing is over and it has been rolled out to everybody. So from now on, we can snooze those annoying trolls on Facebook.
Aside from snoozing Facebook friends, we can also snooze pages and groups for a maximum period of 30 days. To snooze a friend, a page, or a group, tap of the drop-down menu of a post published by the friend, page, or group, and you will see the feature.
Other newly added features besides snoozing on Facebook include the ability to choose the friends, pages, and groups we want their posts to top our feed; also, when a post has shown for too long on our feed, we can now hide the post.
