Earlier this year, Vivo signed a partnership agreement with FIFA, for it to be one of the official sponsors of the next two world cups, Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022. For this reason, the smartphone maker is releasing a special Vivo X20 World Cup Edition.
According to reports, the phone had earlier been unveiled just before the Russian 2018 World Cup draw, at an event held in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
The design and specifications of the Vivo X20 World Cup Edition are the same as that of mother Vivo X20. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, has a 6.01-inch screen, has a 64 GB internal memory and a 4GB RAM. And like the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition, which has the logo of Star Wars towards the bottom of the back cover, the Vivo X20 World Cup Edition also has the Russia 2018 World Cup logo at the bottom of its back cover.
From all the available information, the phone is designed for FIFA officials and will be the official phone for them at the next year World Cup. No information, yet, on whether the phone will be available to the public.
