  • Then select the network you use to browse the internet.

I browse with Airtel NG, so I will tap on it to see the monster apps that consume my internet data
  • Then scroll to see the list of top apps consuming your data, and check for apps that you hardly actively run but eat your data.

With my Android phone, BaBel Fonts is among the top consumer, but I never remember ever launching The app has gulped up 570MB – I must definitely restrict background data on my Android phone for the app
  • To restrict background data on Android for any app (in my case the BaBel Font), tap on the app. So, I tap on BaBel Fonts

  • Then locate the option Restrict app background data and activate the slider
