After the wide reception of the new Nokia 3310 (2017), HMD Global is going to the next level: it will soon be releasing the 3G variant of the phone. The phone, likely to be called Nokia 3310 (2017) 3G variant, has earlier appeared on the US FCC certification site, and according to a tweet by Three Ireland Online, an Irish telecom carrier, the phone will launch in late September or early October.

When the phone was still listed on the FCC website, its specifications were similar to that of the standard Nokia 3310 (2017), only that this version supports 3G network. This means this 3G variant and the standard variant will share features such as 2.4-inch QVGA screen (with 240×320 pixel resolution), Series 30+ OS, 1200mAh Battery, 16MB storage (with micro SD card support up to 32GB), among others.
As it is, the price of the Nokia 3310 (2017) 3G variant in Nigeria, Kenya, India and the other likely countries that the phone might be sold isn’t yet declared. The price is expected to be announced towards the official launching period; this post will be updated as soon as the price and the full specs have been confirmed.
