Nigeria Banks Mobile Money Transfer Codes, Recharge Codes & Account Balance Codes
Note: Majority of the bank transfer codes in Nigeria work on the four major broadband networks in the country, and the service charge is free. However, there are still some of the codes that don’t work on a particular network, and some transaction may cost you a little service charge.
Now let’s go through the Nigeria banks mobile money transfer codes and recharge codes, one by one:
Access Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
The Access bank USSD transfer code can be accessed by dialling *901#. If you have more than one Access bank accounts and the accounts are linked to your phone number, one of the accounts is automatically set as default.
Therefore be sure it is the account you want to transfer from that is set as default. You can change the default account number by dialling the *901# code and follow the instructions to changing the default account.
To transfer money to another Access bank account, dial *901*1*Amount*Account Number#. And *901*2*Amount*Account Number# to transfer to other banks within Nigeria.
Access bank airtime recharge code is *901*Amount#, for recharging your personal phone, and *901*Amount*Phone Number# for recharging for other people. On how to check access bank account balance on phone, just dial *901*5# and you would get your account balance.
You can also purchase data, too, with Access bank USSD code; dial *901*8# and follow the instructions. Access bank mobile money transfer code and other transaction through the *901# code are authenticated with the last four digit of your BVN.

Diamond Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
Anybody, including non-Diamond bank customers, can use the Diamond Bank mobile money transfer code. However, you have to be an MTN subscriber and open an account called Diamond Yello account on your phone.
With Diamond Yello Account, you can run a bank on your phone, without stepping into the banking hall in your life time. According to Diamond bank, over 6Million people are currently using this banking alternative. To get started with this special account, dial *710#.
The USSD code to transfer money from one Diamond Yello Account to another is *710*710*Phone Number*Amount*PIN#, and to transfer from bank to bank is *710*777*Account Number*Amount*PIN#.
Diamond bank mobile recharge code comes in two ways. The first is by using the Diamond Yello Account mobile recharge code, which is *710*555*Phone Number*Amount*PIN#. The second, if you don’t run Diamond Yello Account, is by dialling *937*Amount# on the number you linked with your standard Diamond account. Daily limit for airtime purchase is ₦3,000.
EcoBank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
As a Pan-African bank, EcoBank transfer code is available for the countries in which the bank operates, including Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Each country has its own designated mobile money transfer code, and for Nigeria, the USSD code to get started is *326#.
With EcoBank mobile money transfer code, you can make instant transfers, check balances, pay bills and even read mini bank statements. EcoBank airtime recharge code can also be accessed through the *326# code.
FCMB Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
To use FCMB mobile money transfer code, you first need to enrol and activate your phone number for the USSD code transaction. To activate the number, dial *389*214# and you will get the FCMB Welcome Message, with 3 options to choose from.
Choose option 2, which says Activate with Account, and a message will ask you to enter the account number you want to add to the FCMB mobile money transfer code. After supplying your FCMB account number, you will get a congratulation message.
The next step to finishing the activation is to visit your nearest FCMB branch to generate your PIN; beta still, you can call FCMB Contact Center on 01-2798800 and request for the PIN. You will get the PIN, as an SMS, to your phone within minutes after contacting a customer service officer.
After getting the PIN, dial *389*214# on your phone, tap on Security, and then on Change PIN, and then enter your new 4-digit PIN, and you are activated to use the FCMB mobile money transfer code.
To start sending money or to use the FCMB mobile recharge code or to use the FCMB account balance code, always dial *389*214#, once your phone number is activated.
Fidelity Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
To get started with the Fidelity Bank mobile transfer code, dial *770#. When you are done with the getting started processes, dial *770*Account Number*Amount# and follow the on-screen message to transfer fund to any bank. Fidelity Bank account balance USSD code is *770*0#.
Fidelity Bank airtime recharge code for self-recharge is *770*Amount#, but to recharge for friends or family, dial *770*Phone Number*Amount#.
Before now, mobile money transfer, with USSD code, on Fidelity Bank account in a day was limited to ₦20,000, but it has recently been increased to ₦200,000. Also the Fidelity Bank airtime recharge code has been increased form ₦5,000 to ₦20,000 limit in a day.

First Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
Using First Bank mobile transfer code requires an enrolment process, for a first time user, and the enrolment process is of two types. The first is for the customers that have an existing First Bank debit card(s) that is linked to their phone number. If you fall into this category of customers, dial *894*0# to get started.
After dialling the code, a list of accounts linked to the number will be displayed, so select your preferred debit card. Then enter the 4-digit PIN for the selected card, and use it to create a 5-digit PIN which you will later be using to authenticate your transaction through the First Bank mobile money transfer and recharge.
The second enrolment type is for customers that don’t have First Bank debit card. If you are in this category, dial *894*0#, then enter your 10-digit account number, and create your 5-digit PIN.
To use the First Bank mobile transfer code to send money to any bank in Nigeria, dial *894*Amount*Account Number#, then select the name of the bank you are transferring to, confirm the beneficiary’s name and amount, and enter your 5-digit PIN that you created with any of the enrolment types above.
If you have more than one First Bank account, the option to select the one from which the money will be transferred is available, and after selecting the account, your beneficiary will get the money.
The maximum amount of money you can send at a time with the First Bank mobile transfer code is ₦100,000 – this amount is also the daily transfer limit. First Bank mobile money account balance can be checked by dialling *894*00#, and an SMS containing your balance will be sent to you. All fund transfer using the First Bank USSD transfer code requires your 5-digit PIN.
As for First Bank mobile recharge code, to buying airtime for yourself, dial *894*Amount# and select the account number to buy the airtime from. If you are buying airtime for another person, dial *894*Amount*Phone number# and enter your PIN. Then select the account you want to pay from to complete the transaction.

GTBank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
Mobile banking with USSD code for GTBank is done with *737#, but transaction can only be done with the number you registered with your account number. To use the GTBank mobile money transfer code, dial *737*1*Amount*Account Number#, if you are transferring to another GTBank account.
If you are transferring to other banks within Nigeria, the USSD code for that is *737*2*Amount*Account Number#. The daily transaction limit of the GTBank mobile money transfer code is ₦200,000.
As for GTBank mobile recharge code, dial *737*amount# for self top-up (i.e. buying airtime for your personal phone number, the number you registered with your account). To use the USSD code to recharge your friends or family’s phone, simply dial *737*Amount*Recipient’s number#.
You can also buy data with GTBank mobile USSD code; to buy data for yourself, or for friends or family, dial *737*4# and follow the on-screen option to complete the transaction. The daily limit of mobile recharge purchase and data purchase is ₦10,000.
Your GTBank account balance, BVN and account number can also be checked with mobile money code; to check them, dial *737*6*1# and follow the on-screen prompt options.

Heritage Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
Heritage Bank mobile transfer code can be accessed with the number linked with your Heritage Bank account, and by default the number is registered and activated for mobile USSD transaction. The portal code is *322*030#, and to use the mobile transfer code, dial *322*030*Account Number*Amount#.
To buy airtime, the Heritage Bank recharge code is *322*030*Amount#, for your number linked to the account, and *322*030*Phone Number*Amount#, for a third party.

Skye Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
The Skye Bank mobile money transfer code is *833#. After dialling the code on your phone, choose 3, and then follow the on-screen steps to get started.
Skye Bank account balance code and mobile recharge code are also on the *833# USSD portal home.
Stanbic IBTC Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
Stanbic IBTC mobile money transfer code allows you to make payment, buy airtime, do one-on-one money transfers, etc. To get started, simply dial *909#, and when you are set, you can use the code to transfer money to any bank in Nigeria.
Stanbic IBTC airtime recharge code is *909*amount#, and the daily limit is ₦5,000. Other things you can do with the Stanbic *909# code include, linking your wallet to your Verve card, changing your mobile money transfer PIN and accessing your account mini statements.
Sterling Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
For Sterling Bank mobile money transfer code, Sterling Bank mobile recharge code, and Sterling Bank account balance code, dial *822#. The code allows you perform various transactions, which are also available to other Nigeria banks USSD codes.
After dialling the Sterling Bank *822# code, you will need to create a PIN, which will be used in authenticating transaction with the Sterling Bank mobile money transfer code. For every transaction in using the code, your network provide will charge you a sum of ₦5.
UBA Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
To use the UBA mobile money transfer code, you must first register the number linked with the UBA account. Dial *919# on your phone to get started, and follow the on-screen command, which ends in creation of a PIN needed for the UBA mobile money transfer code transaction.

Unity Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
For Unity Bank transfer code, Unity Bank recharge code, and Unity Bank account balance code, dial *389*215# to get started.
The USSD code makes you bank with your bank on-the-go, and be able to perform various transactions such as utility payments, one-on-one money transfers, payment for goods, airtime purchase, etc.
Wema Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
According to the bank, the Wema Bank mobile money transfer code is a way of life, which allows its customers to bank conveniently at their fingertips. To get started with USSD mobile banking with Wema Bank, just dial *945#. After completing the starting processes, you can then transfer money by dialling *945*Beneficiary Account Number*Amount#.
Wema Bank account balance code is *945*0# and in the instance when you forget your account number, you can get it by dialling *945*000#. To open a new Wema account without going to the bank, dial *945*1# to get started. If you want to change the current PIN you are using for you Wema Bank mobile money code, dial *945*00#.
For personal top-up of airtime or for any third party person you want to recharge his phone, the Wema bank mobile recharge code to use is *945*Phone Number*amount#.
Zenith Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code
To use the Zenith Bank mobile money transfer code, you will be needing your AlertZ number. Your AlertZ number is simply the number linked with your Zenith Bank account, on which your transaction notifications are sent to. Dial *966*00# on the number to get started with banking using USSD.
After dialling the code, you will be asked to enter the last 4 digits on your ATM card, and after entering it correctly, your Account Name will display to confirm that you are setting USSD banking with the account.
Then you will be asked to create and confirm a 4-digit PIN, which you will later be using to authenticate all your Zenith Bank mobile money transfer and recharge through the USSD code.
