Note: Majority of the bank transfer codes in Nigeria work on the four major broadband networks in the country, and the service charge is free. However, there are still some of the codes that don’t work on a particular network, and some transaction may cost you a little service charge.

Now let’s go through the Nigeria banks mobile money transfer codes and recharge codes, one by one:

Access Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code

The Access bank USSD transfer code can be accessed by dialling *901#. If you have more than one Access bank accounts and the accounts are linked to your phone number, one of the accounts is automatically set as default.

Therefore be sure it is the account you want to transfer from that is set as default. You can change the default account number by dialling the *901# code and follow the instructions to changing the default account.

To transfer money to another Access bank account, dial *901*1*Amount*Account Number#. And *901*2*Amount*Account Number# to transfer to other banks within Nigeria.

Access bank airtime recharge code is *901*Amount#, for recharging your personal phone, and *901*Amount*Phone Number# for recharging for other people. On how to check access bank account balance on phone, just dial *901*5# and you would get your account balance.

Diamond Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code

Anybody, including non-Diamond bank customers, can use the Diamond Bank mobile money transfer code. However, you have to be an MTN subscriber and open an account called Diamond Yello account on your phone.

With Diamond Yello Account, you can run a bank on your phone, without stepping into the banking hall in your life time. According to Diamond bank, over 6Million people are currently using this banking alternative. To get started with this special account, dial *710#.

The USSD code to transfer money from one Diamond Yello Account to another is *710*710*Phone Number*Amount*PIN#, and to transfer from bank to bank is *710*777*Account Number*Amount*PIN#.

Diamond bank mobile recharge code comes in two ways. The first is by using the Diamond Yello Account mobile recharge code, which is *710*555*Phone Number*Amount*PIN#. The second, if you don’t run Diamond Yello Account, is by dialling *937*Amount# on the number you linked with your standard Diamond account. Daily limit for airtime purchase is ₦3,000.

EcoBank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code

As a Pan-African bank, EcoBank transfer code is available for the countries in which the bank operates, including Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Each country has its own designated mobile money transfer code, and for Nigeria, the USSD code to get started is *326#.

With EcoBank mobile money transfer code, you can make instant transfers, check balances, pay bills and even read mini bank statements. EcoBank airtime recharge code can also be accessed through the *326# code.

FCMB Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code

To use FCMB mobile money transfer code, you first need to enrol and activate your phone number for the USSD code transaction. To activate the number, dial *389*214# and you will get the FCMB Welcome Message, with 3 options to choose from.

Choose option 2, which says Activate with Account, and a message will ask you to enter the account number you want to add to the FCMB mobile money transfer code. After supplying your FCMB account number, you will get a congratulation message.

The next step to finishing the activation is to visit your nearest FCMB branch to generate your PIN; beta still, you can call FCMB Contact Center on 01-2798800 and request for the PIN. You will get the PIN, as an SMS, to your phone within minutes after contacting a customer service officer.

Fidelity Bank airtime recharge code for self-recharge is *770*Amount#, but to recharge for friends or family, dial *770*Phone Number*Amount#.

Before now, mobile money transfer, with USSD code, on Fidelity Bank account in a day was limited to ₦20,000, but it has recently been increased to 200,000. Also the Fidelity Bank airtime recharge code has been increased form ₦5,000 to ₦20,000 limit in a day.

First Bank Mobile Money Transfer Code & Recharge Code

Using First Bank mobile transfer code requires an enrolment process, for a first time user, and the enrolment process is of two types. The first is for the customers that have an existing First Bank debit card(s) that is linked to their phone number. If you fall into this category of customers, dial *894*0# to get started.

After dialling the code, a list of accounts linked to the number will be displayed, so select your preferred debit card. Then enter the 4-digit PIN for the selected card, and use it to create a 5-digit PIN which you will later be using to authenticate your transaction through the First Bank mobile money transfer and recharge.

The second enrolment type is for customers that don’t have First Bank debit card. If you are in this category, dial *894*0#, then enter your 10-digit account number, and create your 5-digit PIN.

To use the First Bank mobile transfer code to send money to any bank in Nigeria, dial *894*Amount*Account Number#, then select the name of the bank you are transferring to, confirm the beneficiary’s name and amount, and enter your 5-digit PIN that you created with any of the enrolment types above.

If you have more than one First Bank account, the option to select the one from which the money will be transferred is available, and after selecting the account, your beneficiary will get the money.

The maximum amount of money you can send at a time with the First Bank mobile transfer code is 100,000 – this amount is also the daily transfer limit.
