New iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) Specs: Hardware & Software Description

The new iPad Pro 12.9 (2017), with a screen resolution of 2732 x 2048, comes with a better viewing experience than the old model. The screen size measures 12.9 inches and has an anti-reflective coating, which aids better outdoor view of the device. The processor of the tablet is the 6-core Apple A10X processor, while its graphics processor is put to 12-cores.

In Apple’s words, the processor of the new iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) is 30% faster and the graphics processor is 40% faster, than that of the old 2015 model. Also, instead of coming with the 32GB of the former, the new iPad Pro specs feature  64GB, 256GB, or 512GB, in term of its internal storage.

As for the variant of the tablet that will be supporting SIM, its data network will support the global 4G LTE network of all countries and speed up to  450 Mbps. On the camera spec of the new iPad Pro 12.9 (2017), 12MP is at the back, while 7MP is at the front; the back camera is able to record 4K video.

The  new iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) release date was on June 5, after its announcement.  The tablet starts at  $799 for the 64GB Wi-Fi variant — the cellular variant, with 4G LTE, starts at  $929. At the time of this publication, the tablet isn’t currently available in India, Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria.
