iOS 11 Download Steps
There are basically two ways to get the iOS 11 downloaded to your device. The first way is to go to your device’s Settings, navigate to General, and then tap on Software Update. The second way is to go through iTunes. This involves connecting your device to a PC or Mac and run the software update through iTunes.
Before you start the iOS 11 download – if you are doing the update by the first way – make sure you are connected to WiFi. Your cellular data wouldn’t be able to carry the download as the file is about 2GB. This also implies that you will be needing a memory space of about 2GB for the update.
If you follow either of the ways above and your device didn’t receive any update, don’t panic! That’s because a lot of people are trying hard to get the update at the moment. You can try again at night. In as much as your device is on the list of iOS 11 supported devices, you will surely get the update.
