Note that, for now, not all Nigerian banks support the use of the GoTV payment code to pay for subscriptions. The two banks that have been confirmed to support the code are GTBank and First Bank. So the GoTV payment code to be discussed below will be about the two banks.
GoTV Payment Code for GTBank
If you run a GTBank account and want to renew your subscription using a code, the first thing you have to do, as expected, is locate your decoder’s IUC number. Also, you need to know the GoTV package you want to subscribe to and the subscription amount for the payment.
When the two conditions above are met, go to your phone’s dialer and type *737*37*Amount*GoTV IUC Number# — that’s the GoTV payment code. Change “Amount” in the code to the amount for the particular subscription. Finally, tap on the dial button, and your subscription will be activated.
GoTV payment code for First Bank
The code for paying GoTV subscription using First Bank follows the same pattern as that of the GTBank. All you need the First Bank GoTV payment code number, your IUC number, and the amount of the package you want to go for.

To do this, download the mobile app of your bank and login into your account. From the list of available self-service in the app, look for the option related to cable TV subscription.
From there, you should be able to see how you can renew your subscription within the app.
