Gionee X1 & Gionee X1s are low-budget phones with awesome specifications. They come with 4G LTE network, fingerprint scanner, good cameras, among other nice specs. Although Gionee designed the two phones for the Indian market, there is a possibility that the OEM might ship them to other countries. Gionee X1 & Gionee X1s Specs: Hardware and Software Description
A physical look at the Gionee X1 & Gionee X1s shows that they are identical — only that they are different in some specs. The two phones support 4G LTE network on their dual-SIM port, and both share the same Quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor; however, the X1’s chipset runs at 1.3GHz while that of X1s runs at 1.5GHz.
Though both Gionee X1 & Gionee X1s have an IPS display touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (at 294 ppi), the screen size of the X1s is bigger. The X1s’s screen measures 5.2 inches while X’s measures 5.0 inches. There is also a discrepancy in the body dimensions of the two phones; the dimension of one is 144.3 x 72.2 x 8.8mm, and that of the other is 150.4 x 73.5 x 8.8 mm.
For storage, both the Gionee X1 & Gionee X1s also find a common ground as they both have 16GB internal memory, which can get a 256GB upgrade through a memory card. The RAM of the two phones is, however, different in size; the X1 has 2GB while the X1s has 3GB.
Another common ground for the two phones is in their OS; they both come with the Android Nougat customized to Amigo 4.0 UI. Pre-installed software that come with the OS include MS/MMS, Instant Messaging, MP3/WAV/eAAC+ player, MP4/H.264 player, FM Radio, among others.
