iPhone X is expensive ($1000), so this company made a clone that costs $300

You would agree that iPhone X is one of the smartest phones of 2017, but its price ($1000) could drill a deep hole that would accommodate a mouse in your pocket. Because of this, Leagoo, a Chinese OEM, is designing an iPhone X clone so we that couldn’t afford the original iPhone can carry a phone that looks like the original.

But – sorry to tell you – the iPhone X clone wouldn’t be running on iOS. Definitely. Also, it wouldn’t function like an iPhone.

The name of the clone is called Leagoo S9, and as you might expect, it runs on the Android OS and sports the specifications you would see on most Android phones. The iPhone X clone has a MediaTek P40 processor, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory, 5.85-inch AMOLED screen, and 16 MP camera sensor.

In short, Leagoo was only able to clone the iPhone X’s body design and physical look. Yet, there are still some peculiarities to the Leagoo S9.

For example, the Leagoo S9 has a fingerprint sensor at its back, which the iPhone X doesn’t have, and its bottom bezel is taller. And you guessed it right! – the company’s logo is at the back of the phone; the company couldn’t have put Apple’s logo on the phone.

According to The Verge, the iPhone X isn’t the first phone to be cloned by the company; in fact, the Leagoo S8 was a clone of the Samsung S8. Even though the iPhone X clone hasn’t been officially announced by Leagoo, The Verge said the phone would cost $300 when released into the market.
