Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos is the home of everything computer and phone in Nigeria. The so-called village houses hundreds of stores and malls where phones, computers and their accessories are sold and repaired. As a result of the number of stores in the place, it is always congested, leading to traffic congestion and lot of environment pollution.
For this reason, it was first announced back in 2013 that the Lagos State Government is planning to relocate it, but after the announcement, no action was taken. But today, according to a tweet by the official Lagos State Govt account, Computer Village has been officially moved to ICT Park in Katangowa.
