After the quick rebranding and relaunching, Etisalat is now officially 9Mobile, and some of its tariff plans have been renamed and rejigged. The aim of this post is to present to you the new 9Mobile tariff plans and migration codes (and benefits), and as a part of the title of this post tells, I will also be recommending the cheapest of the tariff plans.

There is currently a total of seven (7) 9Mobile tariff plans and their respective migration codes; the majority of them still share the migration codes and benefits attached to the old Etisalat tariff plans. And in case you don’t know which 9Mobile tariff plan you are currently on, dial *200*1*6# to check it.

Before I go deep, listing each of the tariff plans and their benefits and providing my recommendation, below is a quick run-down of all the seven 9Mobile tariff plans and migration codes.

Recommendation on Choosing the Cheapest 9Mobile Tariff Plan

As you can see, all the 9Mobile tariff plans are not designed the same way. Some are call-centric, some are data-centric, and some are in-between. If you do a lot of calls (both national and international) but less of data (or regularly buy a standard 9Mobile data plan), I recommend you go for Morelife – 15k/sec, after NGN5 access fee, is a pretty good bargain.

If you are divided 50-50 into calling and browsing (especially social networks), Cliqlite would be perfect for you, and if the majority of the people you call are on 9Mobile, then TalkZone is your best fit.
